SSG Charles Edwin Everhart (Ret), age 76 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 12:00PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Col. Richard Hartsell (Ret) officiating. Charles was born on October 17, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH to Clyde and Wilma Clemmons Everhart. He retired after 21 years from the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Most recently, he retired from Austin Peay State University HVAC Department. Charles was an honored elder veteran with the Native American Intertribal Council in Clarksville. He enjoyed watching football, participating in Native American Pow-wow's, and loved his dogs: Wannageeska, Wicuska, Weeaka, Lily, and Maria. He loved to visit our best long time friends, Pat and Ann Overcast. And he loved talking to our friend Brenda Holt.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judith; sons, Bradley Justin (Jenifer Walters) Everhart and Charles Jeffrey Everhart; daughter, Jeny Alaina Everhart; grandchildren, Jaymie (Kyle), Brittany, Breezie, and Paul (Jamie Joe); great-grandchildren, Jasiah and Kayden James will be born in January; and sisters-in-law, Janice Moore and Jill Moore Hedrick.
