Ernest Carpenter

Ernest Howard Carpenter, age 75 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on January 29, 1945 in Montgomery County, TN to C.L. and Lucille Johnson Carpenter who precede him in death. He was retired from the Zinc Plant where he worked for over 30 years. He loved hunting and fishing, and telling stories about both. Ernest was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. A Memorial service will be Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 3:00 PM at  Park Lane Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends  Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Hill Carpenter; daughter, Melissa Horn; brother, Mark Carpenter; grandchildren, Alan Linboom and Sarah Horn; and great-grandson, Dexter Linboom.
