Jon Burkhart

William "Jon Jon" Burkhart, age 51, of Woodlawn, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. A graveside service will be held at Needmore Church of Christ Cemetery. He was born on November 24, 1968,in Montgomery County, TN to Marshall and Sue Atkins Burkhart. He was a member of Needmore Church of Christ.

Jon is survived by his mother Sue Burkhart, wife Penny Burkhart, daughters: Shelby (Aaron) Bird and Rachel (Craig) Adams, grandchildren: Aaron and to be born in May, Ellie Rae, siblings: Luann (Phillip) Hinton, David Burkhart, Mike (Marsha) Burkhart, Kenneth (Betsy) Burkhart, Betty Burkhart, and Marranda Burkhart.

Jon was the greatest husband, Dad, and Pa. He will be remembered for his quick wit and giving nature.

In compliance with current health and safety directives, the funeral arrangements for Mr. Burkhart will be private. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jon's memory to the Needmore Church of Christ.
