Ltc James Dysart Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for LTC James Edward Dysart, Army (Ret), 79 of Clarksville, TN will be Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. Full military honors will be rendered.

James, Jim, was born on November 22, 1941 in Akron, OH to James and Marjorie Dysart. He passed away on May 1, 2021. He retired from the United States Army with over 20 years of service. Jim was a member of the American Legion, AMVETS, NRA, Association of Quartermasters, National Skeet Shooting Association, MOAA, and a lifetime member of the VFW.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Dysart and sister, Dr. Linda Dysart Goff. He is survived by his sister, Holly Strassburg, nieces and nephew.  He also leaves his cherished great nieces and nephew.  He also leaves his special friends, John and Lilia Wood.
