A private family graveside service will be held for MSGT Paul W. Clark, ARMY (Ret) age 85 of Clarksville, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Paul passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare surrounded by family. He was born on July 26, 1935 in Trumann, AR to Toby and Aline Clark. He was the guardian and protector of our entire family. He loved his family and was the best husband, father, and Papa anyone could ask for. If you knew Paul, you knew he loved spending his time on the river catching catfish or sitting on the back deck with his family drinking coffee in the morning and diet dew in the afternoon. He was one of a kind. Paul retired after 28 years of service from the United States Army. He was the recipient of many meritorious honors such as the Air Medal, Bronze Star, 1st Oak Leaf Cluster Medal, and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, and numerous others.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Bobbie Nell Clark, his daughter, Beverly A. Clark, and his brother, James Clark. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Evelyn Clark; children, Terry (Lori) Clark and Angie (W.D.) Henson; grandchild, Paul Anthony (Shannon) Clark with great grandchild Paige Clark; grandchild, Taryn (Opie) Petree with great grandchildren, Orvy, Oakes, and Otis Petree; grandchild, Scott (Melaina) Whitehead with great grandchild Scotlyn Whitehead; grandchild, Steven Whitehead; grandchild, Emily (Garrett) Lindsey with great grandchild Sadie Grace Lindsey; his sister, Charlene Case, and many more loving family members and friends.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
