Mary "Annie" Sylak

A visitation for Mary Anne "Annie" Sylak, 66, of Clarksville, will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. She was born on April 14, 1955 in Ringgold, GA and passed away on November 4, 2021.

Annie received her Master's degree from Cumberland University. She taught at Glenellen, West Creek, and Kenwood Elementary Schools. Annie enjoyed doing crafts, going to the beach, visiting the mountains, and was affectionately known as "Tootsie Bear" by her husband.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Young. Annie is survived by her "Sugar Bear" of 15 years, Gary Sylak; mother, Mary Bennett Holiday; son, Dallas Crawford; siblings, Jeannie Young and Richard Young; grandchildren, Lacy and Lexi; and mother-in-law, Mary "Mama T" Sylak.
