Robert (Bobby) S. Beaumont Jr., age 81, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at his place of residence. Bobby was born July 26, 1940, in Clarksville, Tennessee, to the late Robert S. Beaumont and Elizabeth Murphy Beaumont. He was preceded in death by his son Robert S. III (Beau) in 2002, his beloved Connie in 2017, and his oldest sister Betty Beaumont Phillips in 2020.
Bobby was a Class of 1958 graduate from Clarksville High School, worked at Cumberland Auto Salvage (Red's Junk Yard) for many years, was an avid coon hunter in his younger years, and worked for some great men in his more recent years. Most knew him as a hard, reliable, worker. At age 77, around his birthday, he finally retired to take care of his youngest son, Jerome, when his beloved Connie was no longer able. In his final years, you could find him sitting on his Clearview Drive porch enjoying the weather and watching the cars go by with his youngest son.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on September 16, 2021, at 12 o'clock Noon at Sykes Funeral Home. Visitation will be September 15, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be on September 16, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. He will be laid to rest at the Woodall Cemetery between his beloved Connie and his oldest son Beau.
Bobby is survived by his two daughters, Stacey (William) Beltz and Michelle (Craig) Henley; Son, Jerome Beaumont; three grandchildren: Matthew Kennedy, Christopher (Stephanie) Beltz, and Dana Heady (Kyle Heggie); great grandchildren: Kinslee, Brilee, Preston, Sebastian, LilyAnn, and William; Siblings: Kate (Irving) Brown and Kitty Seay; and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Pallbearers will be: Chad Seay, Donnie Brown, Dwayne Brown, Eugene Cottrell, Kyle Heggie, Lewis Bumpus, and Randall Puckett.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help assist in the continued care of his son, Jerome Beaumont. There is a savings account set up for Jerome D. Beaumont at Altra Federal Credit Union in his name.
