Sfc Brenda Bell, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for SFC Brenda Sue Johnson Bell ARMY (Ret), age 61, of Clarksville, TN, will be Friday, March  24, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans West Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Brenda was born on June 22, 1961 in Morehead, North Carolina to Harvey and Annette Johnson. She passed away on March 17, 2023. Brenda joined the Army in 1982 where she spent 22 years serving her country.  During her service she endured 1 combat tour and was also present in the Pentagon during the attack on 9/11. After her time in the Army she married DonJuan Bell on June 21, 2012 in Clarksville, TN. She was a member of The House of Praise Church of Christ pastored by Bro. Kenneth Leavell and first lady Cleratha Leavell.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harvey Johnson. She is survived by her mother, Annette Johnson and husband of 11 years, DonJuan Bell; children, Triston Bell and Rashea Bell, sisters, Margaret Johnson (sister), Sharon (Jerry) Coney, and Lakaye Johnson, brother, Edward (Michelle) Johnson. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews
