Sgt Patrick Callahan, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for SGT Patrick Michael Callahan, ARMY (Ret), age 65, of Clarksville, TN, will be Friday, January 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home where full military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.

Patrick was born on March 24, 1956 in Olean, NY to William and Mary Jo Callahan. He passed away on January 10, 2022. Patrick was a former football player for the University of Michigan. He was a veteran of the United States Army until an injury in Desert Storm that forced him to find a new career path. Patrick was currently employed with Ingersoll-Rand. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and cheering on the Detroit Red Wings.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Callahan. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Robin Skidmore Callahan; children: Heather (Jason) Kruse, William (Monica) Callahan, Francis Callahan, Jacob (Ann) McDaniel, and Joshua McDaniel; grandchildren: Blake and Braden Callahan, Joey and CJ Kruse, and Morgan McDaniel; and sister, Tanya (Eddie) Bryant.
