Sue Defoe

A Celebration of Life service for Mary Sue Mooneyham Defoe, 84, of Cunningham, TN will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Sykes Funeral Home with David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey Cemetery in Cunningham, TN. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 and again on Thursday from 12:30 pm until the time of service.

Sue gained her wings on July 4, 2021 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. She was born in Clarksville, TN to John Mooneyham and Isabelle Dawson on July 21, 1936.

She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. She was a book keeper and office manager for Baggett Construction and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John Defoe, brother Tommy Mooneyham, and granddaughters Sarah Harris and Isabelle Grace Fuqua. She is survived by her sons: Randy (Yvette) Harris, Bill Harris, Terry Harris, and daughter Wendy (David) Fuqua, grandchildren: Jason Harris, Alec Butler, Tommy Harris, Kyle Harris, Nathan Fuqua, and Nick Fuqua, and 9 great grandchildren.

Sue's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
