Thomas "Tom" Quehl

Thomas " Tom" John Quehl, 63, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on May 4, 2021. He was born in St.Petersburg, FL. on October 11, 1957.

Tom graduated Emory Riddle Aeronautical University Flight School. He proudly served in the United States Army Signal Corps from 1975-1977 at Fort Campbell, KY. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful career as an airline pilot. He held positions of Vice President of Operations and Chief Pilot. Tom supported US military troops in Iraq and Afghanistan flying logistics support.

Throughout his life, Tom enjoyed camping, fishing, and flying a variety of aircraft. He was a fan of country and classic rock music and a man of tremendous character. Tom had an irresistible zest for life and had a kind word for everyone he met.

Tom is preceded in death by his father, Thomas M. Quehl, MD and his daughter, Shannon R. Land. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sally Land Quehl; mother, Barbara L. Quehl; siblings: Malcolm Quehl, Nancy Dubois, Sarah Carey, and George Quehl; mother-in-law, Patricia A. Harrell; and many more loving family members and friends.
