William Riley Salmon

A Celebration of Life for William Riley Salmon, age 78, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Guthrie, KY, will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 3:30 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 PM until the time of service.

William was born in Guthrie, KY, on October 7, 1944. He loved music and listening to people tell stories. William was served and supported by NIA Association, founded by Daniel and Carol Stevens, for over 23 years. He loved his caretakers, direct support professionals, and his long term housemate who was like his brother.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Georgie Salmon; siblings: John T. Salmon, Robert Lee Salmon, and Willie May Salmon. William is survived by his cousins, Myrtle Fort and Dorothy Williams; nephew, Robert Lee Salmon, Jr.; and many more loving family members and friends from Guthrie, Ky and Kokomo, IN.
