If A Death Has Occurred
Sykes Funeral Home is hosting a Lunch and Learn on Thursday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. Many families are discovering when basic legal protections are not in place and funerals are not planned in advance it causes an emotional and financial burden to those they love most. This burden can be avoided by planning ahead. Eric Lehmen, Attorney at Law and Thomas Hyatt with Sykes Funeral Home will be hosting a free, informational planning workshop at Sykes Funeral Home.
Funeral planning is growing in popularity and should be part of your estate plan. All of the decisions you make are kept on file at the funeral home. Those who have pre-planned their funerals say it gives them relief, peace of mind, and great comfort knowing that their personal wishes have been put in place. The Funeral Planning Workshop will be informational only; no solicitations will be made. All those attending will receive valuable information on funeral prearranging and prefunding options that are available. Just for attending, you will receive a free subscription to Everplans ($75 yearly value), an online organizing and planning tool.
Eric Lehman of Lehman Sandifar, Attorney’s at Law, will also be providing valuable information at this time. Eric has many years of experience in the estate planning field and will help you understand the necessity of having important legal protections in place.
The registration deadline is November 1st – one week prior to the workshop. Seating is limited to the first 30 people who respond. We look forward to seeing you there!
Catering will be provided by Nicoletta’s Catering.
